happiness.

Happy National Coffee day! I don't know what I would do without you.
mmmm...pure goodness. As my mom would say about Starbucks and ordering coffee "its like speaking a different language"...ha love it. To solve the mystery its a non-fat Grande 3 pump Pumpkin Spice Latte with 1 pump White Chocolate. Try it. I promise you will love it! That is if you like pumpkin :) I hope you all are enjoying this day. Although it doesn't need its own day. It's everyday for me. And today I especially needed it!

Whats your coffee choice?

happy hunting.

Where to begin, well to start off my dad has been a hunter probably since he could walk (maybe being a little dramatic) but he has learned and taught many people. My grandmother always told my mom that he cant help but hunt "its in his blood". I always find this very comical. Since Matt and I have been together my dad has taught Matt all about hunting. And he has grown into a pretty good hunter. Some people it may bother or wives/girlfriends it might upset them but to me I am happy that Matt has something to be excited about and something that he enjoys. Maybe when we have kids, I might change my mind. *wink*

If you have a father, brother, husband or boyfriend you might understand the craziness that over comes our men. For instance the other day we are driving into work together and Matt spots geese flying and he just goes crazy. He tells me "I need to get my bird eyes ready again" WHAT?!?! I mean what does that even mean. I just ignore it. He is always randomly blowing bird calls. Annoying. And yes they have cds they listen to to practice. Hunting shows on television. This goes on and on throughout the year but when fall hits its like they get extra crazy. I just laugh about it.

Matt's first duck. He was smiling ear to ear.

Good morning of hunting.

Ali is excited to get out and retrieve.

Tomorrow starts hunting season. Tomorrow I become somewhat single. Tomorrow starts the early mornings of them coming in and out of the house. Tomorrow starts alot of family time and good meals.

Happy Hunting.

fall is here.

What a fabulous weekend :) I feel so accomplished, so motivated and excited about the future and things to come!

My mom and I went to "Junkfest." Lets just say it was amazing!!! So much fun. I love digging and trying to find treasures. Who knew it could be so much fun. We came away with tons of things. You should have seen us in our junk mobile..haha. I will post pictures soon of my finds from the flea market I went to a few weeks ago and from Junkfest.

My beautiful mother and myself waiting for Junkfest to start out in the wind and cold.
Our junk. Packed as high and as full as we could get it. We even managed to bring back a few pumpkins :)
Side view. Shelf, chairs, wire baskets, frames.
Pretty excited about my junk.

This weekend. I cleaned out a bunch of things again. I don't know how I can have so much to clean I just moved back in and cleaned tons. Maybe its all of this junk I am accumulating?!?! Anyways I drug out all of my fall/winter clothes and put away my summer ones. I love wearing scarves, sweaters, boots. Makes me feel cozy.

I also prepared my home for fall. It is so warm and fall like. Obviously. The outside is welcoming with fall decor and the inside smells oh so good. I love fall! (have I mentioned that) haha.

Love this old chair I picked up at Junkfest. I also made the hanging fall leaf wreath.
Happy Fall!

How are you getting ready for fall?

friday love. fall love.

I love Friday's. Mostly because its the weekend, I can spend quality time with family and work on multiple projects. This week my mind has been really turning coming up with business ideas, Christmas ideas, crafts and making things by trial and error. I cant wait to show some of my new "products" and also what I am making for Christmas.

Here's to fall. I love it. Everything about it. The crisp cool air, being able to wear boots again, layering clothes with sweaters and scarves, the smell of the leaves, pumpkin anything, coffee seems to taste so much better and all the beautiful fall colors so yes I am definitely ready. Earlier this week I posted a few pictures of a wreath I have made. I have since made a couple others and also put together an amazing outdoor decor. I am totally in love with it :) Very cheap too. I used alot of my decor from the good outdoors.

Notice the barrel. An amazing flea market find. Love the shape and color.

Fall Burlap Wreath

burlap and felt flowers
Last night I started my fall wreath. I have been trying to decide how I want it to look. Here is what I have so far. I was in love with it, now I am not sure if I need to add more or if its just right. I guess I need to just let it grow on me.

I still need to a some sort of ribbon to hang the wreath but I was so excited to show it and I need to go out and get some lace ribbon. Maybe once I have that it will be the icing on the cake.

"hooter hider"

Recently I was asked to make a breast feeding cover a.k.a. "hooter hider" to give as a gift. No I am not pregnant....we don't need that rumor flying around ;) I never could have imagined making one of these but that's the fun thing about creating. I am always surprising myself with what I can either make or come up with. I think it turned out WAY cute and I will for sure be making more of these in the future. Thanks for approaching me and taking me out of my comfort zone.

Below you will see pictures of the "hooter hider." It is reversible and also has boning towards the top to make it easier to see the baby from your view. I did also add d rings so its adjustable and easy to get on and off. Enjoy and let me know if you need one for that little bundle of joy!

Also thanks to my husband for the outstanding picture taking..haha. I am sure you were thrilled :)

I love you more today than I did yesterday or the day before.

So this past weekend my husband and I got away from life, the craziness of work and everything else and just went on a little mini funcation (yes I just made that up). It was so much needed after a not so fun summer. There was a lot of him and I time. Much needed as well. Sometimes life just passes by and the simple things in love and a relationship seem to just be on the back burner. So it was a great time to rebuild our relationship and show one another our love. I love him more and more than I ever have.

One day we took part in the local farmers market. So much fun. I have never been to one that big. We brought home a couple loaves of bread, tomatoes and squash. We also shopped the local stores and boutiques, went to the greatest flea market with hundreds of vendors and lots and lots of treasures :) I have never been to a flea market but let me tell you I am and will be officially hooked! It was amazing. It was so much fun finding and picking ones junk that is now my treasures. My wonderful husband made a few trips to the car. Thank you for your patients. I can't wait to post pictures of my wonderful finds. I will be waiting patiently until I can pick another one. We also spent many hours sitting on our balcony over looking the lake at sunset drinking wine, walking the beach and laying on the beach just the two of us not a care in the world and capturing each others love. So thank you Detroit Lakes, MN for the best weekend that we have had in a long time. It was great to be away but good to get home to our little Stella. I mean seriously how could you not miss this :)

And so as the song goes "this has gotta be the good life" no matter what happens in life I still have my husband and Stella to love and who love me back so much more. Take time to love each other no matter how busy life is and how many things are going on in your life. Reach out to the one(s) that love   you.
