I love your love the most.

A couple weekends ago I was a personal attendant in a friends wedding. First time for it and wow its a lot of work...haha. It was also hot and running around with the heat made for one nasty, sweaty girl. But it didn't matter because it was all about the bride :)

I have known Ashley for many many years. I remember calling her and asking if she wanted to go with on a family trip to Minnesota. And really the rest is in the past. From there on out through middle school and high school we were inseparable. I am serious. Did EVERYTHING together! When we got older and went to college we ended up going our separate ways. Choices, new friends and growing up we grew apart. We have now become closer again and no matter what Ashley you will always be like a sister to me. Through good times and bad I know you will be here for me and I will also be there for you. We may not spend as much time together or hang out like we used to but I love you very much and cherish our friendship.

Congratulations on your marriage. I wish you many years of love and happiness and hope you and Adam keep being blessed. Love you :)

rest easy sweet girl.

I remember the day I got you. The surprise and excitement of longing and waiting for you for several years. I believe I was in sixth grade and I remember coming home from dance class and walking in the door and seeing dog food sitting on the counter; it had not registered yet until I saw you. I will never forget the joy that over came me at that time. You were so tiny and so scared. We got to spend 15 wonderful years with you. You gave us love, many laughs, happiness and peace. You will for always be in our hearts and will always be a part of our family. You were not just a dog you were one of us. Rest easy sweet girl you will never be forgotten or replaced. Love you.

four generation aprons

If you follow me regularly you know how much I love aprons and how they bring me love, comfort and joy.  I really don't think I could have too many aprons :) I always remember my grandmother wearing them and making all of those good meals for us. I feel so blessed to make these aprons for four special ladies who have been apart of my life. I hope you can cook many great meals with one another and also help share and teach  in ways that you learned from each other and carry on the tradition.

And I was finally able to make a kids version of this apron. I can't wait to make more.
It is so just so cute and adorable and tiny. If you have kids these are definitely a must :)

Enjoy your aprons!

Happily Ever After.

Yes, I believe in happily ever after.

This past weekend I was in a wedding for one of my very close friends. We met in college and everyday I feel so blessed to have her in my life. The day was pretty much perfect. I love love loved all of her decorations. They were vintage and so natural. Very much my taste as well.

The love and connection that Desiree' and Dave have are amazing as well. These to were meant to be together. That's what makes love so wonderful. You can just see it right in front of you and its almost like you get this overwhelming sense of emotion.

And of course Desiree' was absolutely stunning, but who thought she wouldn't be.
Well I will let you see for yourself. Enjoy!

Lets play catch up.

Wow...how I have missed blogging and posting what is going on in life. It feels like its been forever since my last post. Well not technically I guess. Things have been absolutely nuts around here. I finished up the quilt and boy did that take WAY longer than I expected. But it was totally worth it and I am in love with it. I didn't want to give it away but I knew it would go to a great home :)

This week I am working myself crazy again. Working on 4 fun aprons for a special someone. I can't wait to share those with you. I am doing a kids apron along with those for the first time and I am dying to share that with you as well.

This past and upcoming weekend I am consumed with weddings. Last weekend I was in a wedding for one of my best friends. I love her so dearly and I am so glad she found someone that can love her and make her so happy. Life is so amazing when you find love and happiness. (I will post pictures soon) She was absolutely stunning! p.s. I am super jealous that she is in Jamaica right now.

Also my grandma turns 90 TODAY!! whoohoo grandma. You are so wonderful and a delight to be around. Always peppy and in a good mood. Yesterday my family had a party for her and I was so happy to be able to catch the last bit of it as we were traveling back from Montana.

Oh and speaking of birthdays Happy Birthday mom!!! Sorry I didn't get around to posting it earlier. But better late than never :) My mom loves to be in her garden and with all of her flowers so I decided to post some pictures of all her flowers in celebration.

Well there is my last week or so in a nut shell.

Happy Birthday to my mom and Grandma Howe!!
